Depot Manager

One of the United Kingdom's best known automotive brands are recruiting a Depot Manager to manage one of their depots/branches in the southwest. You will lead a team of around 25 people to deliver a service their customers HGV's on the road and at their premises.

In return they offer a salary level of around £40k with additional bonus, car and more.

As the Depot Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and drive continuous improvement in all aspects of service operations in the territory served by the depot, associated stocking locations and van operations, totalling 5 locations.
  • Ensure the people, infrastructure and processes required to drive continuous improvement in the service to customers, maximise profitability, deliver sound controls and ensure a strong commercial focus to the business are in place.
  • Provide the highest quality of customer service and administration required to support the strategy as well as regional fleets / local customers.
  • Target and win additional regional and local truck fleet business to grow the centres profitability, inspiring an entrepreneurial spirit within the team.

Skills and Experience required as the Depot Manager:

  • Tyre / Truck background is essential.
  • Must have in managing a team of technicians
  • Good commercial acumen - able to work within depot guidelines to achieve targets and KPIs
