LEAD DESIGN ENGINEER

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A LEAD DESIGN ENGINEER WITH APPROVAL EXPERIENCE TO JOIN A TEAM OF AIRCRAFT ENGINEERING PROFESSIONALS IN BROUGHTON OR FILTON

• On-site in Broughton
• Initial contract until 31st December 2024
• High likelihood of extension
• £50-£52ph
• 1 stage interview
• BPSS Clearance sponsored by the client

WHAT WILL THE LEAD DESIGN ENGINEER BE DOING?

• Responsible for leading design investigations within the Wing Plant Engineering Team
• Creating technical solutions for Manufacturing Non-Conformances and Design Investigations while ensuring compliance with all Design, Airworthiness, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve a seamlessly integrated design solution.
• Function as a central figure in leading and offering expertise on technical matters and governance and provide guidance while also offering technical mentoring to engineering team members.

WE NEED THE LEAD DESIGN ENGINEER TO HAVE…

• Previous Aviation/Aerospace experience
• Ideally hold concession design approval status (T200) or hold industry recognised approval status/signatory
• Have Non-conformance experience
• Willingness to work on-site
