GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Design Technology Teacher to join an outstanding school in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic educator passionate about imparting knowledge and delivering education to the highest standard. This is ideal for a confident teacher teaching KS3 and KS4. 

At GSL Education, we work with schools all over Manchester to match good teachers with the right schools for them. We have roles available in various Offsted Good and Outstanding Secondary Schools. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Deliver inclusive and innovative lessons in Design Technology. 
  • Implement a curriculum that meets the diverse needs of students. 
  • Ensure student progress and provide feedback to promote improvement. 
  • Work well within the department with other Teachers to enhance teaching practices and academic standards. 

Requirements: 

  • A relevant teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS)
  • Experience in teaching different areas of Design Technology
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development

To work with GSL Education as a Teacher, you should:

  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education

Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection or willingness to take a course on safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
