My Client is one of the most iconic brands in British fashion and homewares retail and they are now looking for a Designer as they seek to expand their product range and their Global presence.

The role requires someone who understands brands, loves prints and colour as this is a tremendous opportunity to join this growing design team.
Summary
The role of the Designer is to work with the Head of Design to deliver print and colour direction for homeware and fashion and work on the product development of core licensed product categories, ensuring that licensed products for Fashion categories represent all aspects of the brand.

The primary purpose of this position is to design and develop product ranges that reflect the key looks highlighted in the seasonal trend packs, review and approve all creative concepts and designs submitted by licensees and provide feedback at each stage of the product development.

Key skills / Proficiencies:
* Working knowledge of Kaledo design system or similar
* Must be proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign
* Must have a strong eye for colour & detail
* Microsoft office
* Google suite
* A print or surface pattern degree
* At least 2 years experience in the design industry either working for suppliers or retailers
* Any experience working in licensing would also be welcome
