Digital Content & Social Media Executive

Woodbridge - Hybrid working - combining home, office, and garden centre locations.
£28,000 - £32,000

Must have a full UK driving licence and the flexibility to attend events outside of usual working hours – Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm

Pure are working with Notcutts a leading, award-winning retail and restaurant garden centre business with 19 garden centres throughout England, a turnover of circa £80 million and a rich heritage of over 125 years.

In this exciting new position and as part of a vibrant, creative and collaborative team you will play a pivotal role in driving engagement, enhancing loyalty and growing their digital audiences.

You will:

  • Create engaging, informative and visually appealing content and campaigns, tailored to each social media platform, that resonates with target audiences and aligns with brand values.
  • Manage the social media content calendar ensuring consistent flow of audience relevant content and campaigns across the different channels that aligns with marketing goals.
  • Deliver relevant, paid for, social media advertising campaigns.
  • Foster and develop long-term, sustainable, and relevant social media partnerships with influencers and suppliers.
  • Engage with social media communities, responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with gardening experts and other key stakeholders to develop and create informative and educational content that adds value and drives engagement.
  • Work closely with the garden centre teams to deliver a sustainable regular source of relevant community based digital content including covering key events.
  • Work closely with the merchandising and buying teams to ensure content is accurate and timely.
  • Cover key events and generate sustainable community based digital content.

About you

You will possess proven experience in digital content creation and social media management, particularly within the retail or hospitality sector. You will have strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with an acute attention to accuracy and detail. A creative storyteller capable of generating original content ideas is essential, along with excellent video and photography skills, including proficiency in editing software. Experience with digital marketing and social media tools essential. You will be an excellent communicator and collaborator with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences and stakeholders.
