We are currently recruiting for a Digital Marketing Web Analyst to join our team.

This role will give you  the opportunity to play a key role in providing the National Trust with reporting and analysis of online activity.

You’ll work as part of team who are responsible for implementing and progressing web analytics solutions to ensure the National Trust is working from robust data

Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.

What you'll be doing

Joining the Digital Marketing Team, you’ll navigate our analytics tools and pull reports, providing actionable insight of our marketing channels, to show the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. You’ll be interpreting complex data and communicating your findings with stakeholders across the Trust. 

This is a wide-reaching role as you’ll have key relationships with the Digital team, Campaigns team, Senior Marketing Agency team, Marketing Planning team, Programme Leads and IT.

We work with a range of analytics tools and, while we don’t expect you to know all of these, you’ll be eager to learn and become an expert in all things analytics.

Who we're looking for

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • An understanding of online analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
  • Great attention to detail along with analytical skills and using Excel to compile and analyse figures/statistics to inform decisions 
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels (search, both paid & organic, email, affiliates, display, social media etc.)
  • Understanding of e-commerce and online transactions
  • The ability to think logically to design elegant, effective solutions within a complex landscape and able to present and communicate statistics
  • Experience of working as part of a team with the ability to share learn and inspire ideas and teach others
