Your part in the performance

We are currently looking to recruit full-time Advisers to join our multilingual customer service division, based in York. This is a fantastic opportunity for an interesting career within the music products industry. We are currently looking for someone who can speak Dutch to join the team.

You will be passionate about providing our customers with a good experience when they buy from us. ideally you will have knowledge of musical instruments and/or products but this can be in anything from playing the bass in a rock band to being first violinist in an orchestra or being a part time DJ. You will be professional, friendly and reliable.

You will be set up to provide brilliant customer service. This will include answering inbound calls (and a few emails) from customers and providing them with friendly and professional advice on a wide range of musical instruments & equipment.

Your day to day will be

  • Answering inbound calls (and a few emails) from customers
  • Providing customers with friendly and professional advice on a wide range of musical instruments and related products
  • Resolving challenging customer enquiries and escalating where appropriate
  • Becoming a valued member of our specialist Customer Service team!

Your Skills and Experience: What We're Looking For

  • Whilst we have an idea in mind of what we need, we are inclusive, and we want applications from people with diverse backgrounds and experiences that can come together to make this new team into a success.   • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence and an exceptional telephone manner with the ability to build rapport with customers
  • Some experience of working in a customer service environment
  • Computer literate to a high standard, with good Microsoft Office skills
  • A good knowledge of musical instruments and equipment would be hugely beneficial
  • Reliable and committed to providing first class advice and service
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ideally have an interest and appreciation of music

Things to Consider

The work hours will be 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend working.
