Position Available: Duty Practitioner (RMN)

Organization: Hunter Mental Health

Location: Bamber Bridge 

Contract Type: Locum, Full-time (Monday - Friday, 9 am to 5 pm)

Salary: £25 per hour

Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Duty Practitioner (RMN) to join a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT). The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing recovery-focused interventions, short-term support, and crisis management services to our clients. This position involves coordinating with colleagues on the duty rota and working within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct specialist mental health assessments and risk assessments.
  • Develop individualized care plans and risk management strategies.
  • Provide direct assistance, education, and advice to clients.
  • Offer emotional and psychological support to promote re-enablement and recovery.
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience working in a community setting.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience working with clients in crisis situations.
