Early Years Practitioner - Level 3 (will consider Level 2 Candidates)

Come join our passionate team at Heaton House Nursery as an Early Years Practitioner. We are looking for a dedicated individual to work with our children with opportunities to work with our pre-school, toddlers and babies, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can learn and thrive. If you have a Level 3 qualification (will also consider a Level 2), experience working with children, and a passion for early years education, we want to hear from you!

Position: Early Years Practitioner


Hours: Full-time and Part-time options available, 7:30 am - 6:00 pm, three or four days per week, totalling 29.25 or 39 hours per week

Location:Heaton House Nursery, 553 Chorley Old Road, Bolton, BL16AE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the early years curriculum, planning and implementing age-appropriate activities to support children's learning and development.
  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for Pre-school children, promoting their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the individual needs of each child are met effectively.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, creating a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Opportunities to develop leadership skills and progress within the Early Years Setting
  • Training opportunities provided through our nursery Training Academy.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Level 3 (or Level 2) qualification in early years education or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting.
  • Ability to deliver the early years curriculum and support children's holistic development.
  • Enthusiastic, caring, and dedicated to providing high-quality care and education.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
