Our client, a not-for-profit in the medical sector, has an exciting opportunity to join their Education & Events team on a 6-month FTC! This role is to join a busy team organising and providing key educational programmes to medical professionals both virtually and in-person across the country.

This position will oversee the lifecycle of key events, from planning and liaising with medical professionals to hosting events and completing post-event follow-ups with attendees.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about creating educational and professional events and looking to progress in their events career.

Duties within this role will include:

  • Delivering a programme of educational events as directed by management
  • Being proactive in seeking sponsorship for all events and securing strong relationships for future events
  • Producing content for communication and marketing
  • Liaise with necessary vendors to ensure events are facilitated correctly
  • General office administration as required

The successful candidate will have:

  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude for professional events
  • A minimum of 12 months office-based experience
  • Ability to handle a varied workload efficiently
  • Great project and time management skills
  • High level of attention to detail
