Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Location: North West

Salary / Pay Rate: Competitive

Job Type: Permanent

The Role

  • Electrical design work during the pre-construction stages and during project delivery.
  • Survey and report on existing electrical installations.
  • Assist with effectively dealing with deign issues and minimising their impact.
  • Ability to design systems in the form of schematics, calculations, equipment selection, detailed drawings and provide inputs for control operating strategies.
  • Ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice with company procedures.

The Candidate

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Experience using Trimble ProDesign (Amtech)
  • Good understanding of the latest edition of the IET wiring regulations.
  • Sound knowledge of electrical building services design
