The company are a well-established, highly revered manufacturing company in the Plymouth area with sites across the world that not only are renowned for the quality of their products but also for being a leading and progressive employer within the area. Due to growth, they are currently looking for a Design Engineer with Electrical bias to support the Engineering team.

In this role you report to the Engineering Manager, developing & designing low voltage electromechanical components.

The Role:

• Design and development of low voltage electromechanical components and products, technical support from concept to completion, continuous improvement solutions, thermal & mechanical simulations.
• Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30, Friday 08:00 - 15:30
• Hybrid working available

The person:

• Mechatronics, electrical engineering or a similar qualification
• Knowledge of busbar essential
• Commutable distance from Plymouth or be Hybrid, willing to travel a few times a week/month
