Batchelor Electrical are a long established electrical contracting firm, specialising in retail, schools, restaurants, commercial offices and solar renewable projects throughout the UK serving some of the best known reputable clients.

We are looking for experienced electrical professionals, electricians, electrical improvers and electrician’s mates, with both permanent and sub-contractor positions available, to join our team for long term nationwide contracts.

Key duties and responsibilities of the role will include

  • Working as part of a team and liaising with other trades on site to delivery projects according to the program.
  • The ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications; also take verbal instruction from the site foreman.
  • Competent in the installation of galvanised tray, trunking, basket, conduit and plastic conduit.
  • Wiring and termination of single cables, sheathed T&E and LSX type cables, FP200 type cables and SWA cables.
  • Neat and tidy 2nd fix installation of electrical accessories and lighting.
  • Installation, termination and testing of TPN mains distribution system 100A generally but up to 400A an advantage but not essential.
  • The installation termination and testing of control equipment such as PIR’s, din rail mounted control contactors and time clocks.
