Reed Engineering are currently working with a highly established electronics manufacturer that specialises in complex PCB Assembly, offering extremely reliable solutions for surface mount and through-hole technologies.

Due to growth, they are currently looking for a test engineer to join their team. 

The successful candidate will be competent in fault finding to component level on a variety of products including analogue and digital circuits and will have experience in testing assembled printed circuit boards to functional test specifications. 



Other key requirements include: 

•    Ability to interpret schematic and circuit drawings.

•    Creation and maintenance of test specifications and procedures as needed.

•    Accurate record-keeping.

•    Experience with ICT (In-Circuit Test) desirable.

•    Experience with XJTAG desirable.

•    Experience with LabVIEW advantageous. 

•    Understanding of quality standards and build practices, including IPC and 5S.

Qualifications: 

•    HNC in Electronics Engineering, or equivalent 

Additional information: 

•    Salary negotiable depending on experience 

•    Working hours – Monday to Friday, Day shift (37.5 hours per week) 

•    25 days holiday + bank holidays
