ERP Accountant

For an initial 6 months you will be working alongside the PMO, leading on the financial aspects of the change

Client Details

Well established multi-channel Retailer with HQ in Lincolnshire where you will expected to spend 3 days per week with 2 days remote.

Description

1. Financial Analysis and Planning: Conduct thorough analysis of existing financial processes, systems, and data structures. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and identify areas for improvement. Develop financial plans and forecasts for ERP implementation or changes.

2. ERP Configuration and Integration: Work closely with IT teams and ERP consultants to configure the system according to financial requirements. Ensure proper integration of financial modules with other functional areas such as procurement, inventory management, and sales.

3. Data Migration and Cleansing: Oversee the migration of financial data from legacy systems to the new ERP platform. Ensure data integrity and accuracy through thorough cleansing and validation processes.

4. Process Optimisation: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and workflows within the ERP system. Implement best practices and standardisation to enhance efficiency and productivity.

5. Change Management: Develop and execute change management strategies to support ERP implementation or changes. Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate smooth transition and adoption of new financial processes.

6. Risk Management and Compliance: Assess potential risks and compliance requirements associated with financial processes within the ERP system. Implement controls and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance.

7. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of financial processes within the ERP system. Generate regular reports and dashboards to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

Profile

You will be a Qualified or QBE accountant with strong ERP experience and a track record of implementation / development projects.

There is Hybrid working on offer with a minimum of 3 days based out of their Lincolnshire HQ
