This company are a niche construction company who pride themselves on what they do. They provide the full manufacture and installation of bolt on balconies, architectural metalwork projects as well as sructural steelwork projects, they have had great success with their projects over the last few years which has led to fast growth of the business. Due to this expansion, and a strong order book, they are looking for an Estimator to join their family run business and progress through the ranks.

In this role, reporting to the Head of Commercial, you will be working within the small team, amongst other Estimators. Your main job role will be to prepare and submit bids with the key objective of ensuring quotations are submitted on time, and are high quality. You will take ownership of multiple tender submissions, working alongside your colleagues and other departments, ensuring you are achieving maximisation of profits.

This role would therefore ideally suit someone who has a good background in Estimating, ideally with previous experience working on structural steelwork or architectural metal work projects. You will be confident in mathematics and your IT ability will be at a high level. You will be an ambitious and enthusiastic individual who is looking to progress and develop your career.

The Role:

• Estimator
• Create and submit estimate reports or bids
• Bolt on balconies, architectural metalwork projects
• Working in the commercial team
• Liaise with Clients, attending site meetings

The Person:

• Understanding of construction/architectural metalwork
• Experience in preparing tenders and take-offs from construction drawings
• Looking for progression
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities
