As Senior European Tax Expert of this innovative multinational company, you will be at the forefront of managing tax risk effectively and efficiently across Europe. This role, supported by the Head of Group Finance, offers a unique opportunity to contribute to strategic tax planning and compliance within a dynamic organizational landscape.

The Role:

• As the Senior European Tax Expert, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring tax compliance and strategic tax planning across multiple European jurisdictions.
• Collaborating closely with senior stakeholders and supported by PwC, you will oversee adherence to tax regulations, manage audits, develop tax risk strategies, and contribute to year-end reporting processes.
• Your impact will be felt in evaluating the implications of tax law changes and aligning tax strategies with business objectives.
• Additionally, you will guide the VAT team and coordinate activities with PwC to ensure seamless execution of tax-related activities.

About You:

• To excel in this role, you will be a qualified accountant with in-house tax experience, possessing a strong understanding of tax laws, regulations, and IFRS.
• Your outcome-focused approach and strong leadership and management skills ensure results-driven performance.
• With excellent communication skills, you quickly establish credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
• Your flexibility, proactive attitude, and ability to motivate others towards common goals are essential traits.
• Respect for confidentiality and commercially sensitive information is paramount, along with demonstrable organizational skills and project management abilities.
• European language skills would be an advantage but not essential.
