Fabricator Welder

Position: Fabricator / Welder

Hourly rate: £14.00 per hour + overtime

Location: Wolverhampton

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate metal components according to specifications.
• Perform TIG welding on various metal materials, ensuring strong, clean, and precise welds.
• Operate turret punch presses to punch, cut, and shape metal parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and adheres to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Press Brake Setter Operator.
• Proficiency in TIG welding techniques.
• Experience operating turret punch presses.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment.
