Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable women? This Housing association is seeking a passionate and dedicated Female IDVA to join our team on a permanent basis.
 
As a Female IDVA with us, you'll have the opportunity to provide crucial support and advocacy for women experiencing domestic abuse, empowering them to rebuild their lives and secure a brighter future.

  • Provide one-to-one support to women experiencing domestic abuse.
  • Deliver professional advocacy and advice.
  • Contribute to creating safe and empowering environments for survivors.
 
Preferred Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience working with survivors of domestic abuse.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and risk assessment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Empathetic and non-judgmental approach to supporting individuals.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Recognized qualification in Domestic Violence advocacy/support
  • Any relevant Social Work, Psychology, or Counselling qualifications
  • Valid driving license and access to own transport
