Reed accountancy have recently partnered up with a business who have an opportunity for an Bookkeeping Assistant / Office Administrator within our their busy office in Liverpool.

This is a varied role which will involve working within our administration department to ensure all bookkeeping and administration functions are accurately completed daily, and to provide support to our on-site staff. An eye for detail is essential as is commitment to ensuring the ability to undertake quality work even under pressure.

The position suits a highly organised individual who is capable of learning new processes and software applications. No detail has been overlooked; therefore, precise attention must be given.

The role:

- Daily bank postings and reconciliations

- Allocate/Reconcile/Enter customer/supplier invoices & payments

- Credit Control

- Processing supplier invoices

- Timely handling of supplier invoice/stock queries

- Reconcile, query and file supplier statements

- Cash book/ Petty cash transactions ensuring all is accounted for

- Entering financial Data

- Performing data entry tasks efficiently and with accuracy

The Person

- Strong numeric skills & attention to detail

- Proficient at using Microsoft Excel & Word

- Excellent communication skills both written & verbal

- Previous experience in similar role preferred but not essential

Experience needed:

- Organised with strong time management abilities

- Ability to multitask & prioritise accordingly

- Proactive approach towards work environment

- Problem-solving mentality

- Excellent attention to detail

- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

- Enthusiastic team player

- Data entry experience
