Finance Manager - Medium Term Financial Strategy

Allen Lane are delighted to be assisting a Council based in the South East with the recruitment of an Interim Finance Manager to support with their Medium Term Financial Strategy (MTFS). This 6 month interim role will help support the Council with the development of their sustained budget over 3-5-10 years. Key suites will include:

Development of the core MTFS model for both Revenue and Capital across 3- 5 -1o years

Working with services to meet council objectives around savings and value-for-money initiatives.

Develop benchmarking in which to capitalise on Revenue and Capital transformational investment

Support the development of the capital strategy

The ideal person for this role will be an experienced qualified Accountant who has experience of producing MTFS documents for both revenue and capital. Experience of Excel modelling for scenario planning and the ability to enhance or improve existing model is highly desirable. Experience of working on high scale finance transformation and the delivery of savings is essential.

This role will be largely remote with 1 day on site per week
