Finance Manager

Venn Group is working with a renowned broadcasting corporation to recruit for a Finance Manager on a 9 months interim contract. The successful postholder will be responsible for leading the Finance workstream on the upcoming project.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Deliver fit for purpose international Finance and Corporate Tax policies, standards and business practices
• Work with both UK-based and international colleagues
• Lead the Finance workstream, reviewing and documenting existing policies, standards and business practices
• Propose improvements to policies, standards and business practices with an emphasis on a standardised approach
• Lead and document weekly workstream meetings to ensure that Finance plan deliverables are proactively managed and delivered, and risks/ issues/ dependencies are highlighted
• Provide Finance expertise and insight as required by the project, including Financial Analysis and reporting for the project

Ideal candidate profile:

• Professional Accounting Qualification- ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA
• Experience of working on Finance projects and contributing to or ideally leading Finance workstream teams
• Experience of working with and the analysis and interpretation of financial information
• Significant experience of the application of Finance governance and control principles
• Excellent communication skills, working with both UK-based and international colleagues
