Role: Finance/Accounts Manager

Hours: 9am to 5pm Monday - Friday with 1 hour for lunch. Office based full time, 23 days annual leave pro rata.

Role Description: Reporting to the Head of Central Group Operations, the Accounts Manager will manage and support the day-to-day financial operations of the companies within the Group as well as companies owned partly or entirely by the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• To oversee the keying of day-to-day financial data and reconciliation of the identified company’s associated with the groups accounting software and to monitor all financial transactions for accuracy.

• Oversee, manage and assist in the professional development of junior members of the Accounts Team, including delivery of HR matters.

• Deliver monthly budget analysis reports to budget holders across all companies.

• To process all quarterly VAT returns, and CIS payroll returns using the company software.

• Preparing quarterly management accounts and other financial board reports for Senior Management

• Analyse and reconcile monthly intercompany recharges

• Deliver services to other companies owned partly or entirely by the group in accordance with SLAs and other formal agreements.

• Deliver ad hoc tasks relating to acquisitions, disposals, and other key transactions on portfolio assets

• To continually monitor and improve accounting processes and support the companies where necessary.

• Provide a visible leadership function as part of the line management team.

• Complete all HR responsibilities expected as part of the management team.

• Ad hoc projects as set by the senior management team
