Finance Officer - North Manchester

We are specifically working with a 'Good' secondary school in North Manchester, who are working exclusively with ourselves to provide a Finance officer to work with them for the upcoming academic year. This is a role that will start in ASAP and will be on going, could also go permanent.

This is a brilliant chance to get involved in a school that puts the students first with a warm, happy, and safe environment. The staff and students have a sense of pride in their diverse culture and celebrate this with a culture day, which focuses on the different backgrounds that make their community better. The students take on extra responsibility demonstrating their maturity. This includes school council, being a prefect or a librarian. The school also has a strong community spirit with a 'community fridge', which connects them with the wider area. The leaders of the school constantly raise their expectations of students which has created an improvement across the school. The student also supports its staff in all aspects with CPD to make sure they are always developing.

This role will include general office duties e.g. answering the phone, parent and staff enquiries, child enquiries, general communication. Supporting the School Business Manager with finance and completing administrative routines relating to orders, invoices, cheques, income, payroll and the receipt and distribution of goods and services. The position will also require you to have ATT or to be working towards it.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree educated with a good classification
  • Require you to have ATT or to be working towards it
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided)
  • Up to date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)
  • Up to date behaviour management & FGM training in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
