A well-established business is looking for a Financial Accountant to join the team. 

As Financial Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing monthly accounts - overhead reporting in group formats, in line with group timelines and according to the relevant accounting standards.
  • Ensuring that supporting reconciliations and analysis are available for all balances in the trial balance.
  • Supporting on ad hoc requirements
  • Preparing VAT for multiple entities
  • Effectively working with a small team of finance professionals to deliver the requirements of the function.
  • Preparing weekly/monthly KPIs to effectively measure function performance.
  • Dealing with group finance/finance directors queries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Working effectively with other departments to ensure highest levels of customer service are always delivered, including the establishment of SLAs.
  • Supporting ongoing continuous improvement in processes and technologies to drive efficiencies in financial accounting related activities.
  • Supporting the wider department function.
We’re looking for a Financial Accountant with the following:
  • Qualified Accountant with PQE.
  • Experience of working within a Financial Accounting function within an SSC environment
  • Knowledge of the built environment sector an advantage
  • Microsoft package i.e. Intermediate to Advanced Excel
  • Previous experience of accounting ERP software essential
