Your new company

Hays are delighted to partner with this leading organisation as they look to recruit a qualified member to join their finance team. The organisation are due to celebrate their centenary in the coming years and have long-established themselves as on of the leaders in their field, with offices up and down the UK. You'll be joining an organisation with a net-zero policy to be achieved by 2030, where they look to their employees to support and implement changes across the wider business.

Your new role

In your role, you will report directly into the group finance director and be responsible for a number of tasks as part of a wider team of 10. You will have plenty of collaboration opportunities and will be welcome to provide positive change for the operations of both the team and organisation. You will deliver accurate financial reporting monthly and quarterly as well as supporting with the management accounts. You will act as a key point of contact across different business areas and provide support to junior members of the team as well as expert financial insight across the wider business.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to succeed in the role, you will need to be a qualified CA / ACCA / CIMA and have demonstrated experience of working in a similar fast paced finance team or from a reputable practice CA firm. You will have strong technical knowledge as well as
as core communication and rapport building for the wider team. You will have strong attention to detail and exceptional analysis skills. You will ideally have VAT exposure as well as P11D, however this is not essential in the role.
