Financial Accountant

Are you a qualified accounting professional eager to take on a pivotal role in a dynamic Accounting team? I'm seeking a skilled individual to support the Head of Finance, for an industry leading business, based in North Leicester. Operating on a hybrid basis, you'll be instrumental in managing accounting, reporting, and review processes for UK and Ireland business units.

Responsibilities:
Prepare regulatory financial and statutory reports for UK and Ireland businesses.
Lead the closure of annual accounts, overseeing the production of financial statements.
Coordinate with external and internal auditors during year-end schedules and audits.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS and US GAAP) and provide technical advice.
Coordinate month-end closing processes for other European entities.

About You:
Minimum 3+ years of finance or accounting experience, with audit experience being essential.
ACA/ACCA qualification.
Demonstrated understanding of international and local financial reporting standards (IFRS, US GAAP).
Highly organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and work well within a virtual team environment.
