Financial Controller

Your new company
My client, an international business, with an enviable balancesheet and successful year-on-year growth, is looking to recruit a Financial Controller to take leadership of their finance team.

Your new role
You will report into the MD and lead a small team in the provision of a high-quality financial service to the organisation, working with internal/ external stakeholders to consolidate reporting and budget management.

The duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

* Preparation of the financial, management, year-end and statutory accounts
* Formulating budgets and forecasts, including the three-year strategic plan
* Management of the cashflow and associated duties
* Preparation and submission of all regulatory returns including VAT
* Overseeing annual audit and financial compliance and controls
* Supervision, development and motivation of a small team
* Preparation and presentation of board/trustee reports
* Overseeing all aspects of transactional finance including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking
* Supporting in funding and bids, ad-hoc project duties

What you'll need to succeed
This fantastic rounded role would suit a qualified finance professional who is able to communicate across all levels within an organisation, whilst demonstrating strong technical skills and experience. We are happy to engage with applicants who are qualified by experience as long as they can demonstrate they are keen to engage with all areas of the business, with strong leadership, professional experience as a Financial Controller with the ability to support future growth and expansion plans.
