Excellent opportunity for candidates with either academic or commercial GIS experience to join an established team in Glasgow City Centre on a hybrid basis.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proficiency with GIS software, ideally ESRI ArcGIS
  • Experience of working with data from asset management systems, ideally SAP • Experience with database programming languages such as SQL, R or Python
  • Proficiency with MS Access, MS Excel
  • Experience in working with large datasets and in analysing data quality
  • Analytical mindset.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Problem solving
  • Ability to quickly learn new software applications
  • Decisive, able to quickly recommend changes
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
  • Good communication skills including the ability to provide feedback and escalate issues
  • Able to manage work in a structured and organised way, and to present back in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to work within a team
