CV Screen is recruiting for a Golf Tournament Coordinator for a well-established golfing organisation. The role is remote however you will be required to attend different tournaments in the South of England. A salary of up to £26,000 is available.

ROLE DETAILS
Your role as Golf Tournament Coordinator will be to support the Tournament Director in efficiently and effectively planning and delivering the Regional and County tournament schedules daily for Members throughout the South Region.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

-          Conduct and plan meetings and course inspections for each tournament.

-          Record and distribute meeting minutes and reports.

-          Prepare local rules and all relevant tournament paperwork/organise administration and delivery of tournament days.

-          Collate and post results, conduct prize givings/presentations.

-          Work with the Tournament Manager to deliver all press & PR as agreed for the tournament.

-          Co-ordinate tournament support equipment.

-          Deploy the required tournament staff.

-          Driving the tournament vehicle to and from events, as and when required.

-          Operate and maintain tournament management software and ensure the accuracy of administrative and public facing information regarding tournaments.

REQUIRED SKILLS

The Golf Tournament Coordinator will have most of the following experience:

-          Good knowledge of the game and structure of golf.

-          Working towards or having passed PGA/R&A Rules exams.

-          Excellent administration, planning and organisational skills.

-          A first aid qualification is desirable

-          Flexibility to spend periods of time away from home is essential for the role.

Basic salary up to £26,000

LOCATION

Guildford, attending regular tournaments in  Berks, Bucks & Oxon, Hampshire, Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
