We are currently recruiting enthusiastic graduates to join us as Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) in various secondary schools across Kensington and Chelsea. As an LSA, you'll play a pivotal role in the mainstream classroom, providing invaluable support to both students and teachers. Starting this September, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the education and development of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to assist in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Work closely with individual students or small groups, providing additional support and guidance to enhance their learning experience.
  • Foster an inclusive and nurturing environment, building positive relationships with students and encouraging their personal growth.
  • Assist in maintaining classroom discipline and cultivating a conducive learning atmosphere.
  • Provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN) and adapt teaching materials as necessary.
  • Contribute to student progress assessment and tracking, offering valuable feedback for their educational development.
  • Engage in extracurricular activities to enrich the educational experience for students.

Joining our team means enjoying a fulfilling full-time position from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, during term time only. This flexibility allows you to pursue your interests and commitments while making a positive impact on the lives of students.

To join us and succeed in this role, you will need to:

  • Hold an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks (you can apply through Tradewind and get the cost of the DBS refunded after 20 days of working with us).
  • Ensure your CV covers 10 years of employment.
  • Possess the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
