Currently LWC Drinks employ over 1,500 people, across 17 depots across the UK, as well as a Support Centre, based in Manchester.

We are seeking a talented and experienced graphic designer to join our existing four designers within the Marketing team based in Manchester. This role will support the team with graphic design work across the LWC corporate brand, our Signature Wines portfolio, and our award-winning Signature Brands.

Job Summary:

This position requires a creative and detail-oriented individual with organisational skills and the ability to bring ideas to life through design and visual storytelling. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring that design concepts align with the company's brand identity and marketing objectives.

A key focus will be leading and being hands on for wine label packaging design briefs, but you will also contribute to the evolution of our digital and creative campaign offering. You will having a good grasp of both wine language and the wine market, and a sound knowledge of the bottle types that befit a particular region or varietal. Alongside an understanding of the wine production side.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Wine Team on wine label design, interpreting briefs into concepts through to production.
• Create, develop, and produce original and innovative creative ideas that deliver results and align with briefs.
• Maintaining passion and energy, willing to challenge and push new creative thinking in a fast-moving environment.
• Graphic and CAD Design
o Interpretation of briefs and developing concepts from Account Managers, Wine Development Managers and Brand Activation Managers, on behalf of our on-trade customers.
o Conceptualise and create visually stunning designs for various digital and print materials, including but not limited to wine labels, brochures, menus, social media assets, and promotional materials.
• Plan, organise, and execute photoshoots for our Signature Wines portfolio.
o Coordinate with external vendors, photographers to ensure a smooth and efficient photoshoot process.
o Provide creative direction and oversee the production of high-quality visual content.
• Conduct regular reviews of design work to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency

Qualifications and Experience:
• Wine qualification(s) or industry experience or a strong interest in wine packaging is important.
• Experience working in a fast-paced studio environment with a strong portfolio is essential.
• Technical understanding of artistic concepts including typography and colour theory.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including active listening, to understand briefs and interpret them.
• Good organisation skills with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Self-motivated and a self-starter, you are driven to make a mark and develop the role into your own with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to pivot from job to job whilst providing amazing customer service.
