Group Accountant / Liverpool (Hybrid) / Salary £50,000 - £52,000 plus a range of other great company benefits.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Group Accountant to join our clients growing Finance team!

Join an innovative and rapidly expanding organisation with a global footprint! Our esteemed client is at the forefront of their sector and are known as a leading organisation within their sector. As they continue to grow and diversify their operations, they are seeking a talented Group Accountant to oversee financial management for their overseas entities.

Key responsibilities:

• As a Group Accountant you will step into a crucial role responsible for optimising financial performance and ensuring compliance across international subsidiaries.
• You will perform a variety of accounting and finance related tasks, including being the main contact for several overseas companies in your region.
• You will act as a true business partner to your entities, gaining a thorough understanding of the businesses to enable you to report insightful financial information. This will mean involvement in all aspects of the overseas entity such as operations, commercials, and finance.
• You will be responsible for monthly reporting of overseas subsidiaries, including the review and challenge of management accounts, analysis, and commentary.
• Monitor overseas cash flow forecasts and capital expenditure.
• You will provide technical accounting guidance to overseas subsidiaries, resolving any queries or issues.
• Ensure that internal controls are robust to enable timely detection of fraud and other errors. You will work together with your entities to ensure compliance with all external and internal requirements.
• Support with on-going Finance System implementations and projects.

• Good communication skills and ability to comprehend and communicate financial data Able to explain information across a broad group of stakeholders, both in the UK and overseas.
• Possess strong technical and analytical accounting skills.
• Fully or Part-Qualified.
