The Head of Bids is required to oversee and lead the tendering process within the industrial/manufacturing sector, ensuring the development of competitive and innovative proposals. The role will involve working closely with internal teams, coordinating efforts to achieve winning bids.

Client Details

Our client is a large-scale entity in the manufacturing and production industry, with a head office in Leeds, they employ over 1,000 employees nationally and are looking for a Head of Bids to join their growing bids function.

Description

  • Lead and manage the bid process from opportunity identification through to contract award
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of compelling bids
  • Develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ensure adherence to company bid management processes
  • Provide leadership and guidance to bid teams
  • Review and improve bid management practices
  • Conduct post-bid reviews to identify areas for improvement
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the bid team

Profile

A successful Head of Bids should have:

  • 8+ years experience in Bid Management
  • Experience working no public sector and private bids
  • Proven experience in leading successful bid teams
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to develop strategic relationships
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
