This wonderful school in the Croydon Borough are seeking to employ a Head of Design and Technology on a permanent basis and for September start. The school has a very welcoming team to join and will be a supportive environment for the successful candidate. The Design Technology Teacher the school is seeking should have previous experience in a similar role and will have the ability to deliver high quality lessons. It will be essential to have strong knowledge of the curriculum in order to lead the department.

In this role you will be expected to act as a role model for the students and teachers, you will achieve this by planning great lessons, assessing students’ progress and maintaining discipline in accordance to the schools procedures. The successful Design Technology Teacher will ensure that they are setting students targets and monitoring their progress using the school’s system, making use of analysis and evaluating performance data and taking appropriate action to ensure improvement.
