Head of Ecommerce - online retailer

We are working with a multichannel retailer who have delivered directly to trade and retail customers for over 50 years. As Head of Ecommerce you’ll get to grips with planning and overseeing the digital marketing strategy, owning the online customer journey and driving onsite conversion and sales performance.

key responsibilities:

Strategy & Budget Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with business objectives, including defining the ecommerce roadmap.
Digital Marketing: Implement a growth plan to enhance digital marketing performance across various channels such as SEO, PPC, and Display. Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate campaigns and maximize opportunities across direct mail, social media, and email. Build on customer segmentation, personas, and user types to optimize marketing efforts.
Website/Trading: Collaborate with merchandising to optimize website trading efficiency, including upselling and cross-selling. Manage online product content alignment with SEO strategies and keywords. Support projects to enhance customer journey and onsite search functions, adopting a testing and learn approach. Explore and support potential Marketplace opportunities such as eBay.
Analysis Utilize a data-driven approach to provide actionable insights on key performance metrics to the leadership team.
Teamwork: Manage and motivate a team of digital marketing experts, in-house devs and agency resources to execute the strategy effectively.
