Head of Insurance

Our client is searching for a visionary leader to spearhead their Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program. As the Head of Insurance, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding their organisation's success by proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating insurance risks across all facets of the business.

Who You Are:

• A seasoned insurance professional with a proven track record of building and implementing robust insurance frameworks.
• An expert in risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and control strategies.
• Experience at managing insurance portfolios
• A skilled communicator with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior leadership across all departments.
• A passionate advocate for fostering a proactive risk management culture throughout the organisation.
• Experience within insurance regulations a plus.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the enterprise-wide ERM program.
• Manage insurance policy
• Partner with business unit leaders to identify and assess key strategic, operational, financial, and reputational risks.
• Manage renewals.
• Manage the group insurance portfolio and place/renew insurance policies for the Group
• Develop and implement risk mitigation plans and controls to minimise potential losses.
• Oversee risk reporting activities and ensure clear and concise communication of risk information to senior management.
• Manage relationships with brokers.
• Foster a culture of risk awareness and ownership throughout the organisation.
• Stay abreast of emerging risks and industry best practices in ERM.
