Head of Mechanical Services

Our client, a well-known and market-leading building services company, is currently recruiting for a Head of Mechanical Services to join the business to head the Mechanical Projects team. The Head of Mechanical Services will be responsible for overseeing and leading all aspects of the mechanical services department.

Responsibilities for the Head of Mechanical Services

• Your role will encompass strategic planning, team management, project execution, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in delivering mechanical services
• Maintain and build up a good working relationship with internal and external stakeholders including colleagues, customers, suppliers, and senior management teams
• Develop and manage department budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met. Implement cost-effective measures to optimise resource utilisation and maximise profitability.

Key Skills & Experience for the Head of Mechanical Services

Essential

• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical services, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and industry standards
• Full UK Driving License
• Strong written and spoken communication skills
