Our client a leading roofing solutions company are seeking for a Head SHEQ to join their amazing team. Offering a salary between £40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience, offering a full time, permanent opportunity, with a Hybrid working model, based in Daventry.

What will you be doing?

As the Head of SHEQ you will act as the general point of contact across the Group responsible for all elements of health and safety, quality, and environment. You will provide support and guidance to the Board of Directors, and respective Companies to ensure that the Group's health and safety, quality, and environmental operations and systems continue to meet both regulatory and industry standards and reflect best practices.You will regularly undertake internal Group Audits to assess compliance with statutory regulations and industry best practices and be able to identify risks to the business and advise on how best to eliminate or mitigate risk to the organisation.

What skill will you have?

For the Head of SHEQ they would be looking for a Minimum of 2 year's experience within a managerial Health & Safety role at CMIOSH status. you will have a Minimum of 5 year's experience in a managerial Health & Safety role at ISOSH status. You will have Experience in all practical aspects of Health & Safety including maintaining policies, assessing risks, training, audits & inspections, dealing with incidents and reporting. You will have an excellent understanding of safety and industry requirements, and be a positive safety leader with a continual improvement mindset with a track record of business and safety development. You will also have experience in quality and environmental management practices for business improvement.

Qualifications and Knowledge:

• A NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or a NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety.
• IOSH status, actively developing towards CMIOSH status.
• Expert knowledge of ISO 45001; OHSAS 18001 and ISO14001 and ISO 9001
• Knowledge of current CDM regulations
• Knowledge of the relevant regulatory framework within the construction/flat-roofing industry.
