£38,000 - £44,000 + 25 Days Holiday + Early Finish Friday + Bonus + Pay and Role Progression

Are you a health and safety advisor with experience in manufacturing looking for an role within an industry-leading organisation that specialises in design, manufacture and installation of bespoke interior fit out products?

Are you looking for a varied and new position, working for a highly regarded and reputable business who are continually growing and investing in its employees?

You will be the go to expert within health and safety conducting regular audits, inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and areas of improvement. You will play an integral role as the standalone health and safety manager using your expertise to enhance, maintain and uphold there health and safety standards.

This role would suit a health and safety advisor with a background in manufacturing who is passionate about health and safety, looking to be the go to specialist to ensure that the company remains compliant with their high standards.


The Role:

  • Evaluating performance and providing practical and proportionate health and safety advice and support to company personnel.
  • Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders including management, employees, occupational health and environmental professionals, regulatory agencies and government officials.
  • Controlling and supervising H&S whilst preventing occupational risk.
  • Attend meetings and contribute to company strategy and policy-making as required.
  • Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
  • Monitor, measure and report on compliance with all H&S legislation applicable to the company's activities.
  • Source timely and competent advice from regulatory authorities as may be appropriate.
  • Monitoring the safety aspects of the plant and process.
  • Perform audits out of the schedule upon request of the MD.
  • Objectively investigate incidents and accidents and report results.
  • Run toolbox talks whenever necessary.
  • Monthly meeting on H&S issues (H&S committee) and suggestions
  • Report to the MD on training need/request of personnel.

The person:

  • Health and Safety Advisor with manufacturing experience
  • NEBOSH General level three or similar
