Health and Safety Advisor

My client who work within the manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with the right skill set and passion to join a fantastic team.

Key Details: Health and Safety Advisor

  • Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm.
  • Permanent contract.
  • Extensive benefits package which consists of 33 days annual leave.
  • Salary dependant on experience.

Duties and Experience: Health and Safety Advisor

  • The Health and Safety Advisor will take an active role in managing the SHE functions in the factory, maintaining approvals to ISO9001, ISO45001 and EN1090 via external audits.
  • Assist in maintaining company SHE management systems in accordance with ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO450001.
  • Take an active lead in accident and near miss investigations, and ensure that root causes are established and appropriate actions put in place to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensuring the site COSHH system is fully implemented, including risk assessing potential new substances on site and maintaining existing register.
  • NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience in working in the manufacturing sector.
  • Practical experience of implementing SHE systems, performing risk assessments, producing safe systems of work.
