We are currently on the lookout for a compassionate and qualified Home Tutor to join our team and provide invaluable support to a Year 13 student as they navigate their academic path. Our ideal candidate will either be a Qualified Teacher with a strong background in education or possess extensive experience as a Home Tutor, particularly in working with vulnerable young individuals.

Responsibilities:

Tailor support in English and Maths to meet the specific needs of a Year 13 student.

Facilitate a smooth transition process into college, offering guidance and reassurance.

Craft engaging lesson plans and activities tailored to the student's unique learning requirements.

Regularly assess progress and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Qualification as a Teacher and/or extensive experience as a Home Tutor.

Proven track record of working effectively with vulnerable young people.

Possession of an Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.

References covering the last 2 years of employment.
