A quaint 4-star Hotel and spa in the outskirts of Shepton Mallet is seeking a Hotel Manager to join their team permanently with a salary of £35,000 - £40,000 on offer. This role comes with a great perks package and the opportunity to work with a remarkable Hotel in the UK.

What does the role entail?

Your role as the Hotel Manager will be to lead the hotel team creating a welcoming environment for all. You will be working alongside the rest of the hotel teams, covering staff recruitment, and training, ordering, and invoicing, and to foster up and coming talent. You will oversee all aspects of the hotel, providing a positive work atmosphere and being the voice of customers for the site. You will also work on group bookings and events ensuring consistent communication among staff and balancing operational, administrative and colleague needs. Finally, you will ensure the company acquires, retains, and trains the team to have an optimal happy workforce.

What skills will you have?

The ideal candidate for this Hotel Manager role will be able to perform the above duties easily. It would be advantageous if you have experience in hotel management. It would also be beneficial if you have experience managing a team and being up to date on current customer trends. Above all, you will be a hard-working, flexible, and trustworthy team player, who can step in to support the management and development of all.
