Housekeeper - Private Household

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeper to join our client's household team at a beautiful private residence in the Cotswolds. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.

• Cleaning and Maintenance:

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing.
  • Maintain all rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure they are clean and tidy.
  • Ensure all surfaces, fixtures, and fittings are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.

• Laundry and Ironing:

  • Manage all household laundry tasks, including washing, ironing, folding, and storing clothes and linens.
  • Care for delicate fabrics and perform minor clothing repairs if needed.

• Organisation:

  • Organize closets, pantries, and storage areas to maintain a neat and orderly environment.
  • Manage inventory of household supplies and restock as necessary.

• Meal Preparation and Assistance:

  • Assist with basic meal preparation and kitchen tasks as required.
  • Ensure the kitchen and dining areas are clean and prepared for meals.

• Errands and Shopping:

  • Run errands such as grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning, and other necessary household tasks.
  • Coordinate and oversee deliveries and maintenance services.

• Guest Services:

  • Prepare guest rooms and ensure they are welcoming and comfortable.
  • Assist with any special requests or requirements from guests.

• Special Projects:

  • Assist with seasonal deep cleaning and special household projects.
  • Help with event preparations and post-event clean-up.

• Experience:

  • Previous experience as a housekeeper in a private residence or luxury hospitality setting.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment.

• Skills:

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
