We are currently working with a Local Authority in the South West who are looking to recruit 2 SAP Subject Matter Experts to join a team of professionals working on the implementation of the Council’s new SAP ERP system. 

Job: HR SAP Subject Matter Expert & Payroll SAP Subject Matter Expert

Duration: 12 months

Rate: £637.70 via Umbrella Company

Site presence: 1 day on site per week

HR SAP Subject Matter Expert

You will be responsible for bringing HR expertise, working closely with the HR Service and the system implementer to ensure the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and OpenText XECM document management functionality meets the councils requirements. 

Payroll SAP Subject Matter Expert

You will be responsible for bringing payroll expertise, working closely with the Business Service Centre who are responsible payroll service provision and with the system implementer to ensure the SAP Success Factors Employee Central & Employee Central Payroll functionality meets the Council’s requirements. 

You will also work closely with the Organisational Change Management (OCM) workstream to ensure that process changes within the BSC are analysed against the new functionality and changes are understood to ensure a smooth go live.  

Requirement

  • Experience of working in a complex HR environment 
  • Experience of using SAP Payroll & HR system
  • Experience of implementing SAP or similar ERP system through the full life-cycle
  • Must have experience working within a Local Authority
  • CIPD or equivalent experience.
