Our Client:
Nigel Wright are delighted to be working in partnership with an International chemical manufacturing business, to appoint an experienced HSE Manager for their North East site.

The Role:
As HSE Manager the role will be responsible for managing and developing the Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems, in line with COMAH regulations. 

About You:
  • Must have previous experience in an HSE Lead role for an industrial manufacturing plant
  • Strong knowledge of ISO14001, including the ability to audit and manage key stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Knowledge of COMAH regulations preferred, but not essential
  • Experienced in managing relationships with regulatory bodies
  • Well developed communication skills, able to give confidence, challenge and influence whilst being hands on and visible on the shop floor to champion health & safety
  • Self motivated and able to pro-actively and effectively communicate with off-site line management
