About the Role:
GSL Education are currently seeking to appoint a Humanities Teacher to undertake a position at one of our client schools in Washington. We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Chesterfield. Role of a Humanities Teacher:
- Develop and deliver innovative lessons in subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Studies. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and empowered.
- Encourage students to explore diverse perspectives, think critically, and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.
- Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve teaching practices and contribute to the wider school community.
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience working as a teacher within an educational setting.
- Original or certified copies of your degree certificates relevant to teaching science (e.g., Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Education, PGCE).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) certificate or evidence of completion of a recognized teacher training program.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the humanities.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
