Senior IFA Novations Support Administrator
PLEASE NOTE: Applicants must have experience working in Novations within a financial planning firm to be consdiered for this role.
Location: Remote
Salary: £30,000 - £37,000
We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Financial Services Novations Support Administrator to become an integral part of the novations team within our client, a reputable national financial services practice. The ideal candidate will oversee the novations process, ensuring a smooth transition for clients, maintaining the highest standards of customer service and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Be the first line support for escalations from the team in relation to agency, novations and operations support queries.
- Responsibility for the teams combined projects providing regular reporting to the Head of Operational Enablement on progress of projects and potential risks.
- Ensure the team are following the agencies and novations process to ensure risks are minimised and plans are novated accurately and timely.
- Ownership of individual novation and agency projects, being accountable for the end to end process to deliver good outcomes to the business as well as newly acquired firms.
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders to manage expectations on the upfront and ongoing requirements related to the agency and novations projects.
- Complete thorough validation checks to ensure the correct plans have been novated and recurring income has been transferred.
- Ownership of agency applications in line with provider requirements to satisfy existing business need and newly acquired firms joining the Group. Complete applications accurately and timely to ensure disruption to new business submission is minimised.
- Set up and maintenance of provider registrations for existing users, new starters and newly acquired firms joining the Group.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working in novations support within a financial planning business.
- In-depth knowledge of financial services regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to identify trends and propose process improvements.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications and CRM systems.
