IT Infrastructure Engineer

Henderson Scott have partnered with a well known business in the UK that are leaders within their field. Due to the exceptional growth within the team, we are supporting in finding an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join the company on a full time, permanent basis.

Please note that this role does require site presence and preferably own transport due to location.

The Role:

• Take ownership of risk and disaster recovery plan, maintaining, reviewing and testing where needed.
• Configure complex industrial machinery interfaces.
• Control, monitor, and analyse industrial devices and processes.
• Support IT Security team with any infosec relation requirements.
• Find ways to improve functionality throughout the department.
• Deliver 2nd and 3rd line support management where required.
• Strategically support new business solutions throughout multiple sites.
• Mentor and coach 1st line / junior team members.

About You:

• Experience working in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of network, storage and server management.
• Competent around Infrastructure protocols and processes, ideally within manufacturing.
• Ability to lead complex projects and confident in planning and assessing requirements.
• Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
• Industrial machinery interface experience preferred.
