An exciting opportunity has arisen for a recent graduate/school leaver who has an interest in pursuing a career within the accountancy sector, to join a well established local business based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.

With training and support from the team, the successful candidate will undertake many finance duties throughout the course of the next 6 months, typical duties include:

  • Invoicing - raising sales invoices on a daily basis
  • Credit Control - chasing overdue invoices
  • Sales Ledger Management - setting up new customers, carrying out credit checks
  • Supporting Purchase ledger
  • VAT Returns
  • Expenses
  • Assist with producing management reports
  • Adhoc duties to support the team

  • Enthusiastic person who is willing to work as part of a team

This role would suit a candidate who perhaps has started studying towards a relevant Accountancy and Finance qualifications who is looking for their first step in to the industry, or a school leaver who is looking to gain some experience with an interest in Accountancy and Finance.

This is a fully office based role, so all applicants must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship and currently residing in the local area.

There is a possibility for this role to become permanent at the end of the contract period.
